June 13, 2012 marked the first Court calendar of the Village of Montebello Justice Court, located at 350 Haverstraw Road (Route 202), Montebello, New York 10901 (845-368-2837.) "Montebello is a village in the Town of Ramapo, Rockland County, New York, United States. It is located north of Suffern, east of Hillburn, south of Wesley Hills, and west of Airmont" (Citation.)
At a March 21, 2012 meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Montebello, former Town of Ramapo Justice, Arnold P. Etelson was appointed Village Justice and former Village Trustee and Village Attorney, Marc Citrin was appointed Acting Village Justice.
Joining Rockland County's 20 other Justice Courts, the Village of Montebello Court will adjudicate Criminal cases, Driving While Intoxicated cases (DWI, DWAI, DWAI-Drugs, etc…) and traffic and speeding tickets issued pursuant to the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
